As a result of its vision and efforts Bluewater Industries has been at the forefront in the design and engineering, construction and installation of some of the longest offset direct hydraulic production control systems utilized in the Gulf of Mexico and the North Sea areas. This has included complex control and flowline equipment involving combinations of electronic and hydraulic systems, requiring the successful integration of several technologies and companies into a coherent, manageable and reliable system. Such challenges involve distances of tens of miles and multiples wells on the sea floor, in situations requiring the state of the art in continual trouble and maintenance free operations over an extended period of time in some of the most hostile environments. It is a testament to the goals and success of the company that all of its projects have been successful beyond the most optimistic initial plans.
